Mollie Watkins of CCS Appears as a Guest on the Podcast The Bridge: Leader’s Journey

Episode 3 - Transforming Small Businesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

April 2024

Mollie Watkins, founder of Comprehensive Consulting Solutions for Small Businesses, appeared on The Bridge — Northwest Arkansas’ podcast, Leader’s Journey. Mollie and Adam Robinson discussed the significance of implementing efficient systems within small business leadership. Some aspects of the topic they discussed revolved around integrating AI technology, human bias, and tools or technology to streamline business processes.

The Importance of Systems

This episode of the podcast discusses how fast technology is changing, citing the rise of things like ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini. They go on to discuss how Adam Robinson uses systems for his job and how Mollie Watkins uses systems within CCS, such as ClickUp, which she shares saves her an average of 4 hours each week on project management. She explains how, for her business, ClickUp is used for various reasons, such as employee onboarding, marketing, client organization, and has the potential for so much more utilization that many businesses can benefit from.

Human Morals and AI

Another topic they discuss in this podcast is how fast technology has been changing and has begun rising, but it still lacks a human touch. They tell an interesting story about how Fox and CNN recently covered the lack of awareness AI has of human topics and morals. As Mollie states, AI “is like a little biased 3-year-old.”

Businesses have to approach it with the mindset that the technology is affected by human bias through how it’s trained.

How They Got to Where They Are

During this podcast, they take a moment to acknowledge how they both got to where they are, sharing personal stories and their paths on how they achieved their goals, their struggles, and their views on corporate America against the American People. Mollie shares her journey through business and marketing, her desire to reach her goals, lessons she learned from different failures in life, and how her experiences shaped her into the leader she is today. Mollie states that “Failure is only closer to success,” and business owners can use their failures to help them lead the way to their biggest successes if they take the time to acknowledge where they made mistakes and learn from them instead of letting the mistakes weigh them down.
